The training course in detail

Overall theme and context

The aim of this two-part mini-MOOC (massive open online course) is to provide keys to understanding the financial risks associated with climate change. The first part of the course will help participants identify physical and transitional climate risks, the issues these risks raise for regulators and financial institutions, and how taking better account of them can help to transform an economy. In the second part of the course, AFD experts will lead an analysis of the specific processes by which climate change risks affect different economic stakeholders.

  • To understand the issues involved in incorporating climate change into the risk analysis of a project.
