The training course in detail
Overall theme and context
This series of five teaching capsules on the fundamentals of climate change provides a basic knowledge framework for the fight against climate change and for financing projects that are positive for the climate. These capsules are available online and aim to facilitate the dialogue between AFD and its partners while enabling partners to mobilise climate financing proposed by AFD or other funding agencies.

- To learn the basic concepts of climate change and the financing mechanisms to fight climate change.
- To understand how to adapt to climate change.
- To identify the means of mitigating climate change.
- To analyse carbon impact.
- To understand the intersection between climate and biodiversity.
Registration details
This mini-MOOC consists of five online modules of 15 minutes each. This course is available all year round.
