Agir pour le Vivant [Acting for the living] and Residence
The training course in detail
Overall theme and context
Agir pour le vivant [Acting for the living] is an annual festival launched in 2020 by the Actes Sud publishing house and the Comuna association for cultural and environmental projects. It’s a forum for a wide-ranging conversation between intellectuals, artists, and people working in the field who are reinventing, innovating, and sharing different approaches for inhabiting the world, finding personal fulfilment, and illuminating the challenges facing contemporary society. There is a primary focus on the protection and regeneration of the living world. The festival encourages a de-centred approach, listening to others, personal encounters, dialogues between generations and cultures, sharing experiences, and decompartmentalising knowledge while complementing disciplines and skills.
