The training course in detail

Overall theme and context

Integrating environmental issues into the design and implementation of a development project is crucial to ensuring its sustainability and minimising its impact on nature. How can you identify the key areas where measures can be taken to minimise the negative effects of your project on the environment? What criteria should be incorporated into the project to limit energy consumption, the use of natural resources, greenhouse gas emissions, etc.? How can the concerns of the various project stakeholders be taken into account in the decision-making process? How can you raise awareness and train team members to be aware of environmental issues and adopt best practices? What monitoring and evaluation systems should be put in place to monitor environmental impacts, identify potential problems, and take timely corrective actions?
