The training course in detail

Global theme and context

The Mouv’outremer programme is run by the French Ministry for Overseas France and supported by AFD and its Campus AFD branch in partnership with the makesense sustainable entrepreneurship association and the Kedge Business School. Launched in September 2020, the programme was developed to support stakeholders operating in French overseas territories who are committed to accelerating the transitions required for sustainable development. This approach involves five objectives that have been adapted to the context of the French overseas territories and inspired by the ambitions of the citizens of these regions: zero vulnerability, zero waste, zero exclusion, zero pollution, and zero carbon. Thanks to Mouv’outremer, anyone with a local solution relating to these five zeros (private and public decision-makers, elected representatives, entrepreneurs, etc.) can develop their own projects or tools. By participating in Mouv’outremer, members benefit from training, the strength of a local network, and connections between committed local stakeholders to accelerate their projects and help them become a driving force for transition in their territory.
