SIBC 2024-2025 Supports Women Entrepreneurs Creating Impact!

Published on 11 March 2025

On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, we are highlighting the inspiring journey of the 45 laureates of the Social and Inclusive Business Camp (SIBC) 2024-25. Since its inception in 2017, this flagship program has supported over 350 high-impact social entrepreneurs across the African continent, helping them scale their businesses, measure their social performance, and prepare for fundraising. Through an innovative learning approach and tailored tools, the program fosters scalability and the emergence of high-impact social and environmental projects.

For the past two years, SIBC has placed a special emphasis on women entrepreneurs, recognizing them as true agents of change. By strengthening their crucial role in Africa’s sustainable development, the program is actively contributing to a more inclusive and impactful entrepreneurial ecosystem.

A Transformative Journey for Women Entrepreneurs

After an intensive online training phase from October 2024 to February 2025, the selected women from 17 countries will come together for a one-week in-person bootcamp in April, held in Abidjan. This immersive experience will enhance their skills, foster strong connections, and integrate them into a supportive community.

Through a collaborative methodology, inspiring sessions, and capacity-building workshops, participants will gain valuable knowledge and practical tools to drive change in their communities.

Proven Impact: Insights from the Midterm Report

The midterm report confirms the program’s effectiveness and value:

  • 100% of participants are satisfied with the online program, particularly the webinars and co-development sessions that enhance practical skills and networking opportunities.
  • 96% of participants regularly engage with the e-learning platform.
  • Over 60% of participants have already formed strong professional connections with other laureates in their sector or country.
