This programme aims to provide regional support to members of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) and the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) in order to improve the initial and ongoing training of customs and tax officials. It runs within the framework of an executive academy that seeks to strengthen the management skills of tax and customs officials. Built on a logic of co-construction with the people concerned, this project is designed and co-piloted by the Campus AFD and Expertise France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-alt-heading-1\">Learning objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To develop a culture of efficient performance and regular assessment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To develop managers\u2019 individual skill sets, in particular soft skills and emerging methodologies for the 21st century.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To develop a community of trainers and managers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This face-to-face course is geared towards developing human skills with the initial aim of acquiring an overview of training systems and broader teaching skills so that participants can lead their own management training courses in the future. The course focuses on experimentation and uses a participative approach. Participants experience and experiment with the training modules that they will be expected to implement in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-alt-heading-1\">Teaching and activities<br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The training course is comprised of eight modules grouped under three main topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Self-management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Team management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-alt-heading-1\">Registration details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Two train-the-trainer sessions held in October 2023 and February 2024.
