{"id":1028,"date":"2024-03-22T16:03:40","date_gmt":"2024-03-22T15:03:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/campus.groupe-afd.fr\/?post_type=formation&#038;p=1028"},"modified":"2026-03-31T16:12:00","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T14:12:00","slug":"biodiversity-partners-program-bipp","status":"publish","type":"formation","link":"https:\/\/campus.groupe-afd.fr\/en\/training-course\/biodiversity-partners-program-bipp\/","title":{"rendered":"Biodiversity Partners Program (BIPP)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-alt-heading-1\">Overall theme and context<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally launched in Southern and North Africa, the Biodiversity Partners Program (BiPP) (renamed NABTA in North Africa) is currently being implemented in Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new thematic version of the program, NABTA Mediterranean Sea, focusing on the challenges of Mediterranean regeneration and coastal resilience, will also be launched in September 2026.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This program aims to support 25 entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs who are leading pro-nature projects through innovative approaches that will enable them to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>broaden and refine their understanding of biodiversity issues in the region; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>increase their capacity to act within their communities through project acceleration methods; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>join a committed regional action community; and foster momentum around a pro-nature economy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-alt-heading-1\">Learning objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The learning objectives are based on three pillars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Explore: Discover and discuss issues related to biodiversity, deep ecology, and systems thinking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop: Discover tools and entrepreneurial skills, and benefit from coaching to develop your project based on the learning from the exploration phase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience: Participate in a week-long immersive experience that allows for a profound reconnection with nature, with others, and with yourself, through sensory and creative activities. Participate in inspiring visits and a final event that showcases the projects and learning from the program, cultivates your network, and fosters a committed regional community of changemakers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-alt-heading-1\">Teaching and activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This program combines theoretical instruction on biodiversity issues, practical exercises to support a shift in mindset, discussions around inspiring actions and projects, an introduction to ecological leadership and systems thinking, the discovery of entrepreneurial tools and know-how to develop and accelerate projects, an immersive experience in nature and experimentation with the deep ecology approach, and workshops to foster an engaged community of change agents. The program&#8217;s hybrid format combines plenary webinars, online breakout sessions, individualized online coaching, and a week of in-person workshops and discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-alt-heading-1\">Registration details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on the region, this training program takes place over a period of 4 to 6 months online and includes one or two weeks of in-person immersion.
